sax-zim bog and northeast Minnesota in winter

Northeast Minnesota epitomizes the winter wonderland that is the Northwoods in winter. Snow-covered and frigid, there are many wonderful birds in a beautiful, peaceful environment. We will search for some of North America’s most sought after owls—Snowy, Great Gray, Northern Hawk, and maybe even Boreal—along with finches, grouse, woodpeckers, gulls, Bohemian Waxwing, and Boreal Chickadee.
