Panama: Canopy Lodge & Tower

Panama is not only the gateway for commerce between oceans, it is also the bridge between two continents. This has created a melting pot of biodiversity with avifauna of both North and South America, and many species limited to this region.

We will enjoy the birds of Panama while staying at the world-famous Canopy Lodge and Canopy Tower. These are two of the premier eco-lodges in the neotropics that cater to the needs of birders and naturalists alike. Both locations have spectacular birding on their grounds, with the Canopy Lodge’s famous feeders and garden and the Canopy Tower’s incredible 360-degree observation deck above the canopy of Soberanía National Park. This is a tour that can see upwards of 300 species, including a chance at 20+ species of hummingbirds, 6 species of trogon and 5 species of motmots!

This tour can be combined with our Canopy Camp and the Darién tour (March 23-30, 2025)! A $300 discount will be applied to the total price for those joining us on both tours.
