Jamaica: Caribbean Island Endemics

With 28 endemic bird species and many more endemic subspecies, Jamaica is an important destination in the Caribbean for endemics and all-around great Caribbean birding. Staying at only two locations and focusing on the eastern part of the island, we will visit all of the important habitats to see all of the endemics that call this island home, including iconic birds like Red-billed Streamertail and Jamaican Tody, all at a relaxed pace. We should also find plenty of familiar neotropical migrants escaping the cold with us.

This tour can be combined with our trip to the Dominican Republic. You will receive a $300 discount and have a chance to see 60 endemic species if you join both tours!

Itineraries will be updated with plenty of time before the next departure. Our itineraries usually show minimal changes between years, but some substantive updates can occur as birding access and information evolves. For any specific questions regarding these trips, please contact us.
